How many millions of hours of video tape faithfully recorded, (mostly) by thousands of dads, meticulously labeled, stored, moved, stored again…
The newborns, the first communions, the bar mitzvahs…
The vacations, weddings, graduations, retirements…
The soccer games, swim meets…
The VCRs long gone. Broken. Tossed out. Dumped at Goodwill.
All that life captured on video tapes that no one will ever watch again, unless of course they were converted to DVD.
Oh wait…
